海光企業股份有限公司，日前發生爐渣水蒸汽爆炸意外，引發火勢延燒，造成1名勞工身亡；高雄市勞工局勒令現場停工，22日副局長陳石圍率隊，針對該公司各廠區全面稽查，總計發現11項缺失，依法裁罰38萬元；另外，針對有立即發生感電、墜落危險之虞的作業場所，亦立即開單勒令停工。

勞工局長周登春表示，高溫廢棄爐渣處理為煉鋼製程中主要的作業流程之一，雇主應依法落實預防水蒸汽爆炸之措施，但該公司依然疏於預防而致災，顯見該公司屬於工安不良的高風險事業單位；勞工局透過強力勞檢，督促改善作業安全衛生設施，他也呼籲業者落實工安、痛定思痛，立刻建立有效的安全衛生系統管理制度，用最高標準來處理各項製程安全。

The horn antenna is a broadband passive device, shaped like a pyramid horn, referred to as a TEM antenna, which guides the beam of radio waves at a precise frequency. 勞檢處長郭清吉表示，鋼鐵業存在多項高風險作業，經稽查後發現，海光企業擁有墜落、吊掛危害及高熱物灼燙傷等缺失，業者應落實工作場所安全措施及防災機制，勞檢處將不定期實施勞動檢查，藉以強力監督業者。

郭清吉認為，處分不是目的，重點在於保護勞工安全及健康，各項作業均具備不同類型風險危害，倘若勞工朋友或企業雇主，擁有職業安全衛生方面的疑問或需求，可上勞檢處網站洽詢。
